My Chosen Genre

The genre I have chosen for my music magazine is alternative/indie rock. I have chosen this genre as it is my personal favourite music genre and therefore I feel that I could create a good magazine for it. It also appeals to quite a large demographic, although the bands that make up the genre have quite niche audiences themselves. It is also a music genre that is starting to become more popular and the bands themselves are unique and tend to go against the traits people associate with musical artists which is something I would like to associate into my magazine.
